[OPEN] Wrong FieldCursor

Hello,

I am using the latest version (incl. service packs) of your text control for WPF.
I've set the FieldCursor of the TXTextControl to 'Hand' in the XAML file but a wrong cursor is shown in the application.
Is this a known bug? It worked in earlier versions.

Thank you.

HTML5: Make merge field lists scrollable in the ribbon bar

It is recommended to provide a view for the available merge fields in the MAILINGS ribbon tab which is essentially the most important tab when it comes to the creation of mail merge templates. But sometimes, a table has simply a lot of fields and the available height for the merge field list is limited. This sample shows how easy it is to...

[OPEN] Saving document as PDF with Korean characters doesn't work

$

Hello,

When I save a document with Korean characters in it as a PDF document, the Korean characters are saved as squares with questions marks in them.

The attached ZIP file has an RTF and PDF document in it. The easiest way to demonstrate this is to open up the attached RTF document in the 'Demo Document' sample application that you provide. Save that document as a PDF document and you will get the same result shown in the attached PDF document.

We do not have this problem with other languages we have been using including Chinese, Persian, Arabic, Vietnamese, Russian.

On a long shot we have tried installing the Windows Korean language pack but it did not help.

We have tried using a few different fonts for the Korean including Arial, Arial MS Unicode, Calibri

We are using TxTextControl for WinForms version 20.0.1300.500

Thanks

Bill

In a recent post, we explained how to open a local document by uploading it to the server. This sample project shows how to add a Download button to the ribbon file menu that downloads the document as an Adobe PDF file. As in other samples, a hidden button is used that will be triggered inside an AJAX UpdatePanel to keep up the existing...

For many years, there has been a clear split between two groups of software: B2B and B2C. [SOLVED] Implementing a "Goto next target" function

$

Hi,
I'm trying to implement functionality for skipping to next link target (from current cursor pos).
This is the code I've come up with (that of course doesn't work as expected):

FieldId& = oCtrl.FieldAtInputPos
FieldId = oCtrl.FieldNext(txFieldLinkTarget, FieldId)
bRet% = False
If FieldId>0 Then
sFieldName$ = oCtrl.FieldTypeData(FieldId)
bRet = oCtrl.FieldGoto(txFieldLinkTarget,sFieldName)
If Not bRet Then
MsgBox("Unable to go to next bookmark.")
End If
End If

I created a document with some bookmarks (type txFieldLinkTarget), and it seems that no matter where I put the cursor initially, I cannot get the code to skip to all bookmarks in order. It stops after the first one. FieldNext returns zero after locating the first link target.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Regards,
Morten

[OPEN] Just getting started with the HTML5 editor - where is the complete tx.css file?

So I'm running the little HTML5 demo. I see the Home tab as the only active tab. I've got a second project up that I copied the demo tx.css file into and I only get the Home tab. If I comment out the link to tx.css, with no reference to any css file at all it runs, with the complete editor visible. I'm not sure how this is possible, but I need to add a new tab, so the question is - where do I find a copy of the complete css file with all tabs and ribbons included, that I can use as the basis for my implementation? I've looked all over.

Thanks!
Mike

[OPEN] ServerTextControl cannot be licenced

Hi,

I downloaded the trial version of TextControl for winform in order to test how it could fit in our current project, and I'm running into an issue where I cannot instantiate ServerTextControl. What I want to do is to be able to process MergeFields inside a document, but I dont want to instantiate a control. From the documentation I understand I need to use "server" objects. Here is the code :

TXTextControl.DocumentServer.DocumentController Ctrl = new TXTextControl.DocumentServer.DocumentController();
Ctrl.TextComponent = new TXTextControl.ServerTextControl();
Ctrl.Load(OpenedFileName, TXTextControl.DocumentServer.FileFormat.Wordproces singML);

I get the LicenceException "The following control could not be licensed: TXTextControl.ServerTextControl".

Am I doing this right ? If yes, how can I solve the licencing issue ?

Thanks !
