[OPEN] Deleting Multiple Text Fields in a selection

Hello,

I have a text control in my application which has multiple text fields. If I select a portion of the text (which contains one or more of the text fields), i can't delete that section using the backspace or the delete button. I have verified that the text fields are deletable. Is there anything specific that I need to be aware of when deleting multiple text fields?
